Well, I am now officially employed! Yay :) This past Monday I started with the city of Hutchinson in their Park and Rec department. My job is quite simple, sit on a lawn mower and mow grass all day long. As long as I remember to turn once in a while to avoid a tree, I should be just fine! Haha. No, it's not that boring. I'm learning alot about the city; where all the parks are, finding my way through the back streets, and how fun it is to drive mowers through town. I had my fair share of mishaps with equipment in my first week, having four different problems with equipment...but they haven't fired me yet. So, I guess it isn't all that bad :)
Calving finally finished on August 5th. A heifer that I didn't think got bred gave me a nice little heifer calf. So, now there are forteen 'kids' running around in the pasture. Pretty nice bunch if I do say so myself!
The tractor is home and running like a top. I am so glad to have it back home and be able to use it. Makes my efforts a little more justifiable.
Life keeps thowing twists and turns at me, but I have faith in Christ that He will show me what He wants me to know.
