Many of us know that teenage prenancies are wrong besides being immoral to people's standards. Today was no exception. I had a yearling heifer give birth to a small heifer calf, with the vet's help of course. It was heavily unexpected of course and quite a surprise. Since I usually don't breed heifers until they are fifteen months of age, I usually don't plan on an animal giving birth at twelve months of age. Doing the gestation period on the animal, it figures out to that she was bred when she was a little over three months of age. It's a scary thought.
Other than that, life is going pretty well. Have two cows left to calve in...it's time to be done. Tractor is coming along well. Hoping to crank it over and start it on Friday. I'm pretty excited to be with it!!
Sarah and I continue to enjoy each others company. We are both still in awe of how God led the two of us together. Words cannot describe the joy that she has brought to my life!!!
Blessings
